Hutchinson Engineering Services Ltd has been established as a family run business since 1979, setup by the Managing Director Mr Ian Hutchinson. Originally specialising in agricultural engineering but rapidly expanding into fabrication, welding, haulage, crane and plant hire resulting in the successful company it is today. The company is based north of Newark, Nottinghamshire within easy access to the A1.
The company occupies 4 sites, one at Old North Road, Weston, Nottinghamshire, our Head Office, which consists of Heavy Haulage, Crane and Access Platform Hire, Parts Department, Commercial Vehicle Workshop, one in the village of Sutton - On - Trent, Nottinghamshire, the company's Engineering Works, Specialist Trailer Services at Tuxford, just north of Newark and one in Southrey to the East of Lincoln, both mainly looking after LGV Trailers.

Our extensive fleet of vehicles provide solutions for all your logistical needs throughout the UK. If you are unsure on the type of vehicle and trailer suitable for your load, our transport team are available to advise. We provide our own escort vehicles for transporting abnormal and wide loads for external customers as well as for the company's own benefit.
Operating from modern workshops with a diverse skill base we pride ourselves in being able to say yes to complete our customers jobs. From one off to mass production, our fabrication facilities are here to provide you with solutions. Boasting a wealth of services not found as a package amongst our competitors, we maintain a flexible approach to work, offering fast lead times.
Our parts department at our Weston depot offers good level of service to all our new and existing customers. The department offers a range of products which include large stocks of metric and imperial nuts, bolts and washers. We act as agents for Nilfisk - Alto pressure washers and cleaners and Autoglym cleaning products.
Hutchinson Engineering Services Ltd can provide an efficient and competitive crane hire service 24 hours a day. We have cranes from 40 up to 220 tonnes but are able to supply smaller or larger cranes upon request. We can also supply small crawler cranes with or without drivers, depending on your requirements.
Specialist Trailer Services UK Ltd was originally formed out of Hutchinson Engineering Services Ltd to maintain their fleet of heavy haulage abnormal load trailers. Since then STS has expanded to another site at Southrey which is known as our Bardney Depot. At our Tuxford Depot we mainly deal day to day with the heavy haulage abnormal load trailers.

Really worried about this companies activities. Especially it's involvement with the highly controversial HS2 project!. This company drives past lines of protest, everyday. Complicit in the 108 ancient woodlands currently being felled!
