Services
Established in 1950, this family-run business (now in its third generation) was founded by Donald J Wright. After a successful 10 years on Porcester Road, land was purchased opposite Colwick Woods to enable a two-storey factory to be built which was named "Colwickwood Works". This move enabled the company to develop in other areas and set up their own design section.
Wright Engineering Company (Nottingham) Limited has over 50 years' experience in general engineering, design and manufacture of special purpose machinery, jigs and fixtures of all types. We have supplied many diverse industries including Food, Glass, Timber, Foundry, Printing, Ceramics, Automotive, Pyrotechnics, Pharmaceutical, Weighing and Bagging and Furnace Manufacturing.
We are the sole manufacturer of the Rudor Clamp. We have been using our Rudor Clamps for many years in our own production and on many fixtures, and through experience have found no other system that provides greater control and durability. A range of versatile and unique clamps, designed to enhance rather than compete with existing clamping methods.
