Sandles Car Supermarket were fantastic because - Just one thing as I am 71 the computer set up needs to be part of your handover, as it is still giving me problems! It needs an expert in computer technology - not a trial and error job for a 71 year old. I had a great experience at Sandles Car Supermarket because they had just the car I wanted and I was able to trade in my old car for a good price.

Travelling 400 miles round trip to buy a car I'd spent some months looking for might be deemed crazy. Alex Jones made it worthwhile and went out of his way to answer my questions before I made the trip. I was left in no doubt this trip would be worth it. I recieved a good trade in value for my old car and all the paperwork and payment stuff was handled very professionally. My sincere thanks to Alex.

After making a deal we were happy with we arrived to collect vehicle it transpired the sales rep had made a mistake regarding part ex quote, admitted he had made an error then insisted to complete the deal we would have to part with a further £200 ... suffice it to say we walked away, not impressed I expected better. Buyers beware!

Really poor experience, hence the 1 star! Nearly 2 weeks ago, we went to see about test driving a specific car seen on Sandles website, only to be told it wasn't available to test drive that day, as it was being used by a member of staff. Our details were taken, and we were told that once the member of staff was next in work, we would be rung to arrange a time to test drive the car. A week later we had heard nothing, so I sent an email asking what was going on/when would the vehicle be available to test drive, etc. No response was received to my email, even though the vehicle was still being advertised

OK. Good choice of cars, professional staff generally priced well. Poor standard warranty of 3 months
*Update Feb 2019 - Mini for my commute to work :)
*Update of August 2020 and the DS5 has gone and replaced with a Mondeo from Sandles - thanks again
The experience at Sandles Car Supermarket was fantastic because we have bought my current new Mini some 20 months and the DS5 (4 and half years ago) which they took in part exchange for this new shape Mondeo, all of which have painless as they can be when spending lots of money. The latest GAP policy is also a real winner even though we paid cash
