Went on a Friday evening and chose from the Evening Specials menu from which you can have two courses for £19.95.
I had Brie in breadcrumbs starter, salmon then chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. Paid about £2 extra for the pudding. Tasty food , served with saute/boiled potatoes and veg. Once service started we didn't have to wait long between courses. About seven different mains to choose from. We all enjoyed our food.

Very nice Restaurant, small which makes it very homely. The Staff are friendly & very helpful. Menu has lots of variety & prices very reasonable including drinks. The dessert menu could maybe have few more options but adequate. Would recommend especially for Sunday Roast if can get a booking as it does get booked up.

HEAVEN ON A PLATE!
Despite living within walking distance for 20 years, we have only recently discovered this little gem and are gutted that it has taken so long. We will be doing our best to make up for lost time.
The food is delicious and beautifully presented, the welcome is warm and the staff friendly, professional and helpful. What more could anybody ask for?
There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe our first dining experience there. We can’t wait to return.

Booked for a family lunch, 7 adults and one child. Drinks and food all arrived promptly. 5 starters eaten (1 prawn cocktail, 1 pate, 2 egg mayonnaise, 1 soup) all plates cleared! Between us we probably had the whole menu- steak, salmon, gammon, steak pie and every plate went back empty, save for some veg- because there was so much of it. Again, we sampled most of the dessert menu- profiteroles, banoffee pie sherry trifle, chocolate fudge cake. Sad to say I was defeated and couldn't quite finish mine, though I tried really hard as it was a day off from the diet!
The bill was extremely reasonable
