I didn't expect much, as I booked here in a last minute rush, but it was pretty awful. The room smelled like dirty feet, and occasionally it smelled like there was a gas leak somewhere. After a night I started to get small itchy bumps all over my body. I left the hotel 4 days ago, and I'm still covered in bites and itching like crazy. There must have been bed bugs, which doesn't surprise me as the sheets seemed very old and less than hygienic. The staff were very friendly and helpful, so its a shame to give such a poor rating, but it really comes down to hygiene in the end.

Me and three others stayed here for 1 night last night (11th Dec). I didn't expect alot from the hotel due to it being a 'budget' Hotel.
However I expected it to at least be clean.
The room was absolutley filthy!
There were old tissues left down the side of the bed as well as thick dirt and grime
I tried to wash my hands and the water was yellow!!
The corridors smelt awful, the whole place was just disgusting.
We also were bitten in the bed by bugs.
The only good thing I can say about the hotel is the lady who checked us in was lovely.
THATS IT.
The hotel was also in a run down area which

It's very cheap, which I mean as a good thing, bed was comfortable, OK if you just need somewhere to put your head down. Don't have super high expectations you'll be happy.

Wonderful pub and hotel. Rooms are exactly what you need while on a short trip to London, while the pub is in a perfect location for travelling into the centre. The landlord and his team were amazing, and comendably professional to deal with. I would highly recommend this place to anyone is looking a for a comfortable, affordable, and convenient location to stay while visiting London.

The staff are friendly and helpful, the location is ideal to explore London, there is a bus stop outside which takes you to Elephant Castle underground station but you can easily walk it there in ten minutes, or you can catch the bus and get off at London Bridge, which did not take long. The bathroom and room were clean. It was excellent value for London. The pub next to/underneath the rooms was cheap and the locals were friendly, especially with my husband. Have seen some reviews mentioning how the area looks, you need to open your mind and realise that iner-city living does not always mean that

Absolutely brilliant staff did their best to make our stay good the new guy in short shorts made up for being late on his first day by being a legend and complementing my mullet. And in general they put up with our group and it’s a bloody decent price for central London

The hospitality was overwelming, the team were welcoming and genuinely went out out there way.
The room and bathroom areas were spotless, as a last minute booking could not fault anything
Location is wot you make it
