Cellar Door has a lovely outdoor roof terrace and area for tables out the front. The interior is spacious and airy providing the perfect environment for well spaced tables following social distancing guidelines.
We are an independent bar and bistro located in Hereford City Centre producing food that is packed full of flavour and made from scratch by our team of talented chefs. Hereford's strong agricultural roots are important to us so we always strive to use the best local produce including ingredients sourced from our own Restaurant Garden when the season allows.

Our food is a celebration of all that is seasonal, sustainable, local and ethically sourced. We strive to work by all these principles to ensure our dishes are the best quality possible with the best flavour. Our menu is all about taste, as an independent bar and bistro we keep our menus seasonal and regularly adjust them to ensure we are always using the best ingredients available at the time.
Deposits of 5 per person will be required for tables of 6 or more (for Bistro or Sunday menu reservations). If you cancel your reservation after the 'Cancellation Deadline' then Cellar Door reserves the right to retain your deposit payment. Please let Cellar Door know of any changes in numbers in the run up to your reservation.
Cellar Door is 10 minutes walk from the train station and 3 minutes walk from Hereford's main shopping area, The Old Market. Within Cellar Door, there is a private dining/ function room and roof terrace on the first floor and the main bistro and bar is on the ground floor. Exiting the multi storey out of the front entrance where you drove the car in.
Cellar Door is looking for an exceptional manager to lead our talented front of house team. Ensure staff are delivering exceptional customer service and maintain high food and service standards. Ensure the team complies with health and safety regulations and adhere to the alcohol licensing laws. This is a full time position and due to the nature of the business the role would include daytime, evening and weekend work.

It's stated to be a dog friendly place to eat and so five of us plus our very well behaved dog went for a meal and we were very happy with the seating position and can only say it was so very very nice to be served by attentive staff. The meal was fabulous and it was a busy and vibrant atmosphere. Well done to you all and thanks for a lovely evening.

The festive menu was simply exquisite. Normally we use a pub close to our work office but we ventured further afield this year for works Christmas meal & wasn’t disappointed. The staff were very attentive & again the food was brilliant. Highly recommend this place. We were recommended it by a friend of a colleague now I’m recommending it to all. Merry Christmas.

Booked this restaurant for a birthday and unfortunately it didn't add to the cheers and celebration.
On arrival to the restaurant we were greeted by a red head female member of staff who made a passing comment about being a nervy booker due to me checking on the day that we still had the table. Most restaurants call to confirm your table on the day, so as this was not completed by Cellar Door I thought I would confirm myself.
When ordering our mains I asked for a side of paprika salted chips which came out with no paprika on. I asked the waiter if he minded asking the chef to add it to the same

Popped in unreserved for Sunday Lunch. Lovely welcome with food to match. Beef served pink and meal is accompanied by less commonly used vegetables such as squash, mange tout & leeks. There are undoubtedly cheaper places in Hereford to get a Sunday Lunch but for my taste very few that will be better.

We were completely new to Hereford and wanted somewhere special for supper. You know how it is - no matter what the reviews, it's always a bit of a gamble.
The reviews for this gem are excellent, as you can see, and we think everything we'd read was justified and very much more.
These days I want to eat fresh nutritious produce, not in pubgrub amounts (where quantity is supposed to compensate for mediocrity), enticingly presented and above all, of course, delicious.
The bright and charming youthful staff brought me a glorious autumn medley of different kinds of beetroot, all a starter should
