Magical - Sometimes you just happen apon a place that is just becomes a very special place dear to your heart. Coverack and the Paris Hotel is that special place for our family and there's no place we'd rather be. My wife and two girls (9 and 5) feel completely at home at the Paris and that's because of the decent, honest, hard working family orientated people that make the place so special.
The Oceanview Restaurant serves outstanding local seafood, meats and vegetarian dishes. Every dish is freshly prepared especially for you. The Chef has a wide and varied experience that allows him to cater for every taste from traditional English pub food to gourmet dining. Seafood is a speciality with deserts to die for!
The Lizard Peninsula is one of the most delightful and interesting parts of Cornwall. Surrounded by the sea it has a sense of wildness and solitude that is rare in these times. A string of fishing villages and coves are connected by imposing cliffs and seascapes and it is possible to walk for miles along coastal paths amidst breathtaking scenery or spend the day sunbathing and swimming on one of the many beaches.

Very poor eating and drinking experience. Had the cheeseboard as an alternative for lunch and it was pretty poor. The hot chocolate was lukewarm in a small coffee cup. My eating companions were equally dissatisfied with the offerings. Plenty of cafes nearby that cannot be worse. Very sticky tables. Avoid.

Third visit, Good value tasty food. Booked table for anniversary, arrived slightly early had a drink and ordered, which took 45mins for a special and fish and chips to arrive!!! Had to ask waitress who advised that there was a large "takeaway" order!!! Oops, silly me, thought a table booking that had already ordered would have been fulfilled before a takeaway. Lovely setting but sadly it's lost its shine for us, as decor, fixture's and fittings were very grubby and all looks in need of an end of season deep clean!!!

Went here 10 years ago and nothing appears to have changed. Great position on the headland with an outdoor garden. They do food but personally I just like to stare out to sea with a drink and while away the time after wandering around the scenic town of Coverack. The pub has a car park and any overspill could be catered for by a large town parking area. Don't expect 5 star but it was more than adequate for me.

We visited a number of times during our recent stay in Coverack, and had dinner on one occasion, possibly the best fish and chips we have ever had. Fantastic friendly and helpful staff, a great pub in a cracking location. Incredibly relaxing and highly recommended. Thank you very much for having us!
