We are situated in the small village of Healing, just on the outskirts of Grimsby. Established in 1975 we provide a stimulating, caring, safe, fun and structured environment for all children in our setting. Services
To provide a safe, secure, stimulating and welcoming environment. To enhance the development and education of children. To work within the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families. To ensure children and parents'/carers' are happy and satisfied with the service being provided.
We are offering universal 15 hours for all parents/carers of children the term after their third birthday. Parents/carer's are able to choose 30 hours over 38 weeks of the year or 22 hours over 50 weeks. Parents/carers are responsible for checking their unique DERN number on a regular basis to ensure that they are still eligible for funding.
Uniform is not compulsory but we do offer sweatshirts and tee- shirts with the nursery logo on. The prices are detailed below. We have recently received an order of both Jumpers and Polo shirts aged 3 - 4 years. Please see a member of staff if you wish to purchase any uniform. In the warmer weather please provide a sun hat depending on the weather as we have all year round outdoor play.
Please support our local Ice Rink at the rear of Grimsby Leisure Centre. Ideal indoor activity for the damp, dark Winter season and also a great way to entertain the children and to help them stay healthy. Links are provided. Food Allergies - New allergen information rules have recently been passed which affects all food and drink prepared within the Setting. Early Years Settings have to comply with the EU Food Information for Consumers Regulation (No. 1169/2011).
The Setting already complies with section 3.47 of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years (EYFS) which states Before a child is admitted to a setting the provider must obtain information about any special dietary requirements, preferences and food allergies that the child has, and any special health requirements.Providers must record and act on information from parents and carers about a child's dietary needs.

I can't rate this nursery high enough. There is nothing scarier than sending a child to nurse for the first time, especially after a previous bad experience and the start of a pandemic! Healing nursery has been incredible throughout though. They have took every measure to ensure the children, staff and parents are safe. My daughter has come on so much since going, speech, drawing, counting the lot.They keep parents up to date with pictures through the online website.
