Hello and Welcome to Butterflies Day Nursery, my name is Clair and I am the Director of the setting. I work with an amazing team of Managers and Early years educators. We work tirelessly together to ensure Butterflies is a happy, safe and exciting place for children to learn and grow to their full potential.
At Butterflies we find ourselves very lucky as we have a purpose-built building with fantastic facilities, there are five separate rooms spread over the ground floor of the building which are large, open plan spaces. At Butterflies we aim to create a warm and nurturing environment in which children can be physically safe but also feel emotionally safe too.

Services
Each child is entitled to two weeks 100% holiday discount (conditions apply and see individual contracts). The setting charges for the full 52 weeks of the year including bank holidays but swaps are available if sessions have space. Invoices are sent via email before the end of each month and to be paid on the 1st in front.
Poppy room is where our youngest children first come into our setting. The room is bright, open and very calming with most of the floor space covered in carpet and soft comfy areas for children to rest and play. We have a sleeping area which can create a tranquil and calming area for them to be able to sleep.
The next step after Poppy Room is the Daisy room. The team would follow the transition procedure (see transitions) to help and support your child's transition onto the next stage. In this room the children will continue to grow and develop further. Our role as practitioners is to facilitate children's play with open ended and adult led activities, which are age appropriate learning opportunities based on the interests of the children.
Our Bluebell room is always full of energy with children learning to develop their physical, social and emotional skills. The room is large free flow area with all areas easily accessible to the children including a small toilet and bathroom. The children within this room have opportunities for all different activities; they have access to large building equipment, role play, sensory play and creative play.
