I believe this solicitors firm are trying to scam people. I have just received an email chasing ground rent after never receiving the actual bills. When asking for evidence they have refused to provide it. I was spoken to extremely rudely by a John Bucknell who then hung up on me after their email says please discuss this letter with us if you have any difficulty. The £500 addition to the ground rent is what’s added to the difficulty and rather than discuss it I was told pay or face court action all contrary to their email. It’s disgusting.

Same as all above reviews total disgrace to the legal profession - i'm a client with a ground rent dispute but living outside of the U.K missed payment due to sale of ground rent without prior notice between 2 parties. Phoned to resolve and after conversation with Dan Thornton who was ENTIRELY UNREASONABLE looks like i will be paying £450+ in additional charges for the sending of a single templated letter..UTTERLY DISGUSTING...AVOID THIS COMPANY!

they are are cunning, unresponsive to emails and will not accept any responsibility in communicating to you via the simplest form, in order to slap a penalty fine onto you.
The person that I dealt with (Dan Thornton) was very rude and arrogant.
I would strongly advise you to use another solicitors firm and not SLC Solicitors.
