Silverstone C E Primary School
Silverstone CE Primary is unique in its ability to offer the facilities of a large primary school but being a small enough school community to know every child and family individually. A real strength of Silverstone CE Primary is the close co-operation and commitment that exists between all corners of our local community.

We value highly the partnership between home and school and our strong partnership with parents is central to our success. At our school we say we 'Learn Together, Grow Together and Achieve Together' knowing that Jesus said: I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.
Services
LEARN TOGETHER - we aim to instil a love for learning and motivate each child by providing a stimulating curriculum that will develop creative, enquiring and resourceful minds. ACHIEVE TOGETHER - through our safe, caring and happy environment we aim to nurture individual talents, enable children to develop physically, socially and intellectually and strive for the highest academic achievements.
Paper copies of the information and Policies/Reports shown on this website, are provided free of charge upon request. Please contact Mrs Jayne Capel, our School Administrator, if you have any questions or would like to arrange a visit. The Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET) is a multi-academy trust formed by the Peterborough Diocese Board of Education.
The majority of our children live in Silverstone and the feeder villages of Abthorpe and Wappenham. However, parents from a much wider area actively choose to send their children to Silverstone CE Primary based on our 'family feel', good results and a positive school ethos. The Academy Governance Committee (AGC) have delegated responsibility for admissions in our school and are therefore responsible for all admissions.
At Silverstone CE Primary School Reception Class, we aim to give each child a positive and meaningful start to their school life, in which they can establish solid foundations on which to develop into independent and fearless lifelong learners.

We will encourage children to develop independence within a secure and friendly atmosphere; to support children in building relationships through the development of social skills such as cooperation and sharing; to help each child to recognise their own strengths and achievements through experiencing success and by developing the confidence to work towards personal goals.
We have an Academy Governance Committee (AGC) that has some delegated responsibilities from the Trust Board of Directors as outlined in the Trust's Scheme of Delegation. They engage with our local community. Agree the vision and values for the academy with reference to the SIAMS Schedule, in partnership with the academy community, ensuring they are aligned with the Trust's Vision and embracing equality.
