I have used Dywers 5 times in the last 10 years and Amanda Reed and her team are fantastic. I have never had to chase them for anything and it is usually them chasing me. There's not many people who can claim that about a solicitor re a house sale. I'll be using Amanda again shortly to write a will. You won't find anyone more professional and diligent. Thanks

I used Dwyers solicitors a few years back when I bought my first house and they were brilliant then. Naturally, I wanted to use them again the second time for selling our house and buying a new one.
The Dwyers solicitor who undertook the sale was very kind and very efficient, communicated well with us and we were very pleased.
However, the purchase was handled by a very different solicitor.
First of all what is not communicated at the start, is that Dwyers solicitors will not open a file, respond to any enquiries or send any enquiries until the searches come back. We were unlucky and these searches

I wanted to use a local solicitors which offered a personal service. The service did not live up to the website description, in my opinion. I was disatisfied with most aspects of conveyancing for a sale and purchase and was appalled by the rudeness and poor service offered by a "partner". Things did improve when the latter referred my case to one of her solicitors (without bothering to let me know), but at least this solicitor was more pleasant and responsive to deal with. I wasn't kept informed of progress (my estate agents usually found out from the other parties before me), documentation was

We used Dwyers to witness some documents being signed for a tenancy as my father was stuck abroad due to covid. Michael and the team at Dwyers made it very easy to complete and get everything done. We used Dwyers to buy a retirement property and I have to say we made an excellent choice. The were professional and yet personable. Always quick to respond to questions and queries and nothing was too much trouble. They never once made us feel we were asking silly questions when looking for clarification.
