Since 1994, the Castle has been available to hire for weddings, functions and other private events. My daughter got married yesterday and we had the reception at Lissanoure Castle. At first it seemed far to travel to get there, but to tell the truth it did not disappoint in the least. The journey is worth it and then some. The reception area is welcoming and comfortable, and then 'the barn' is just a great space to hold a wedding reception. There is plenty of space, it's toasty warm with a huge log fire blazing surrounded by comfortable seating, and the dining area is massive, with plenty of dance floor space if you need it. The staff could not do enough for you, and were all really friendly

The team at Lissanoure are exceptional. Nothing is too much or too difficult and they made our day so relaxing and special for us. We had our ceremony in the castle and our reception in the barn. People on the day couldn’t get over how beautiful a venue it is. Lissanoure castle is stunning inside and out- it is a magical venue and we feel so blessed to have had our wedding there on 22nd September 2018. We wish we could do it all over again!!

We had what we felt was the perfect day at this venue last September. That was down to the skills of the team at Lissanoure and the absolutely stunning venue that speaks for itself.
