Poor evening at the cadeby inn tonight
Was sat at the bar waiting to be seated by staff who were more concerned about carrying on their conversation when they could see us at the bar.
Placed in the bar area to eat when there were free tables in the restaurant area free.
Menu was severely limited. One vegetarian option.
And to top it off as we’re eating the staff are clearing and cleaning up around us.
This is my second visit Here. The first was good. Tonight I feel I wasted my time, money and effort driving over.
I won’t be rushing back.
And to top it off the food was average at best

Had a meal here on the way back to Oxfordshire from Whitby and it was a lovely place to stop for some food. The owner was doing the front of house and the serving and he was doing a brilliant job of it. He was so friendly and made us feel really welcome.
The interior decor was really well thought out and unique from the front door to the toilets.
The food was absolutely amazing and everyone else’s on the other tables looked great as well, especially the steak. Have favourited to come back sometime!

Popped in for Sunday Lunch at short notice, as was in the Doncaster area and saw it on the Internet. Everything was a cut above the norm. Lovely welcome, efficient and polite staff, wonderful surroundings and the food was amazing. Cannot fault, and would have no hesitation in recommending this fabulous place.

Absolutely loved it. It is under new management and Nicholas and Darren were fantastic. They both made us feel extremely welcome. The selection of drinks is phenomenal. We enjoyed our meal and said we would come back.
Upon leaving, Darren gave us a tour of the pub and knew a great deal about it. Then Nicholas saw us in the car park looking around the BBQ area and barn so he gave us a tour. Both individually made us feel at ease and like they had all the time for us.
We dropped in for another visit when passing and again were treated like royalty. Nicholas is an exuberant character full of beans

Can highly recommend this place. We went here as a family of four for Sunday dinner. It's worth mentioning that I'm not a big fan of going out for a roast dinner, I usually find them underwhelming. Not here though! This was hands down the best Sunday roast I've had anywhere, and my wife concurred. Between us we had all three options of beef, turkey and ham. I had beef and the meat was cooked to perfection, the accompanying vegetables were delicious and the portion size was ample enough to leave me feeling full for the rest of the day. I also enjoyed a Bakewell pudding desert, with the rest of the

This is somewhere we have been on many occasions and enjoyed the food and ambience.
This is the first time we have been since the pandemic and unfortunately it is not what it used to be.
The staff are still lovely, attentive and helpful. The location is beautiful with a lovely atmosphere and the cleanliness is to a super high standard. Sadly some of the food is not what it was and could do with a little attention to detail ..... maybe a relish with the burger and a sauce with the chicken and a little less overcooked. Saying that the pie was amazing.
I would go again but a little attention to
