Based in Rugby, Claire decided to combine her passion for baking and designing into starting her own business, 'Claire's Creative Bakes'. From studying interior design at Huddersfield University in 2006 and her love of baking from an early age, Claire's attention to detail has developed and is reflected in her ability to produce a cake that she aims to make the next one out do the last.
Your wedding cake is an integral part of your wedding day and it has to be perfect - this is something that Claire firmly believes in. She understands that not every couple desires the same style of cake; so whether you want a contemporary, traditional or even a spectacular themed three tier wedding cake Claire will provide you with the cake that you want from her bakery in Rugby.
All of my bespoke cakes made in the cake studio are four layers of sponge tall with an indulgent three layers of filling, covered in a thin layer of chocolate ganache and finished with a thin layer of sugar paste as standard but can be left naked or finished in ganache, the choice really is yours. I have a range of sponge flavours with many fillings to choose from.

I needed a cake to celebrate the Head of Lawrence Sheriff School having served for 20 years. It needed to serve 120 people. Claire came up with excellent design and delivered the cake to the school on the morning of the celebration. It was absolutely wonderful. The Head and the staff thought that the design was very appropriate - tasteful and understated. They were even more thrilled to learn that there were 3 flavours of cake - which suited all tastes. The cake was delicious and several staff came back for a second and, in some cases, a third slice.

I would highly recommend Claire's Creative Bakes.....her cakes are AMAZING! I have ordered all sorts of cakes from birthday to anniversary to baby shower and all have been a huge success! Not only are Claire's designs / creations incredible, her customer service is fantastic. I currently have another cake on order for my daughters 6th birthday and I'm so excited to see it! 🦄🎂😍
