Visited at around 5pm. They advised that the kitchen fully opens from 6pm and that they can offer a limited menu. The only items that were not available were any fried items.
We ordered Mari Chicken Wings, Lamb Keema and Tandoori Roti. The Mari Chicken Wings is something I’ve never had before, however will be something I’ll definitely be ordering again, one for you chilli lovers and packed with flavour. The keema was not only tasty, it was a large portion too.
Overall blue ginger is and always has been a good bar/restaurant to visit. Great selection of drink and food, the atmosphere is also

Good value and delicious food. Service was also very good. The starters are just the best and we tried a large variety of them. We were quite full up just from those starters. Good vegetarian and non-veg options. Something for everyone here to enjoy. Highly recommended and I will 100% be visiting again!!

Always a favourite local!
When you can get options for not only Indian but also Indo Chinese this is the go to place!
The food has not changed much since the last visit a couple of years back and the genuineness of the taste has been maintained.
I would recommend the Chilli garlic Paneer , along with some spicy hakka noodles and Manchurian, it's heaven in your palate.
Worth a shot if you have not tried it!!

We usually order in from Blue Ginger but today decided to visit the restaurant.
We were not disappointed! The restaurant is lovely inside, the staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and professional.
At one point while we were receiving our food we realised that we didn't need the rice we had ordered.
We asked if it was too late to cancel it and the manager came over and told us this was no problem.
Both he and the staff were really good.
We can't wait to come back.
Oh! And the food was amazing as always 😁

At first it seemed quite unorganised and it wasn't clear who was going to seat us initially. This was the only unfortunate thing which stops it getting 5 stars, the food that followed was very tasty bar the tikka massala which my cousin said tasted weird which I agreed with after trying myself. But everything else, the coconut lamb and chicken, peshwari naan was plentiful and lovely which went hand in hand with the portion sizes, very generous. Over all I would go again but there was more mic ups over seating then I won't go a third time.

Great atmosphere and good service.
The wait was slightly long even after booking but the food made it worth. Veg starters are all amazing and definitely recommend trying the garlic chilly mogo.
We had a group of 8 and the speed of service was impressive.
Overall great experience and definitely coming back.

Very nice decor and very busy as i went on a saturday night. Had char grilled fish and jeera chicken wings for starters, fish was ok but the wings were not what i expected. It tasted more ginger than jeera. The other half ordered masala poppadoms and manchurian balls dry which were very tasty. For the msins i had a plain nan and special keema & chicken mix which wasn't oily but nice and spicy. The waiter was a bit demanding as to is that all your ordering and rushing us. Overall the place was ok and i would visit again with a group of more non veg eaters so we can sample a variety of

Nice place, good buzzy atmosphere and good range of interesting food.
Only downside is it does get a bit busy so book early even for mid week nights when you would expect it to quieter. I guess that means it must be popular!
I gave it 4 stars just because it can be a bit cramped sometimes depending on the table you get.

Having eaten at the Abercorn in Stanmore many times before it was closed (it has now re-opened) I recognised the style of the Blue Ginger menu straight away and I'm virtually certain the two establishments are owned by the same person. There are certain things on the menu I have never seen anywhere else and the style of the places (nice bar/restaurant) really feel very similar. The food at both is exemplary the Kenyan chicken on the bone is fantastic as is every single dish I tried. However I have to agree with other reviewers about the prices they are a bit higher than the norm. Tandoori

I've visited Blue Ginger twice now, once for lunch and once for dinner. On both occasions I have found the service levels to be exemplary. The bar and waiting staff are extremely attentive and well trained in customer service it seems. The venue itself looks lovely; you can tell they've spent a lot of money on decorating the place and the ambience is fabulous. Unfortunately I found the food to be very average and rather pricey for what it actually is. I was pretty stunned to see a portion of boiled rice for £3.50. It's Kenton, not Central London! The cocktails are about £7 each

Blue Ginger is clearly popular with Kenton's well-to-do Asian families. Porsches and Mercedes crowd the car park, and flat-screen TVs and black leather couches dot the interior. The menu brilliantly captures Delhi's thriving Punjabi-Chinese food scene, so a meal could start with either pan-fried masala fish in a delicious ginger, chilli, coriander and peppercorn crust, or masala mogo (deep-fried cassava patties tossed in a distinct sweet and sour sauce). Cultural purists might prefer paneer bhurji (shredded paneer cooked with tomatoes, onions and coriander), or the fish masala, a helping

Ive been to BJ three times till now and will always say this is a superb bar/restaurant. Their mixed platter is a boon for parties and tastes quite well. Their starters are top notch (8/10). Main courses are good (7/10), Desserts good taste but a small variety (8/10). It can be a bit pricey if you drink a lot (5/10). Overall, the ambience is great and can be a perfect venue for small office parties.
I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who likes good food coupled with great ambience

The atmosphere is very exciting
we booked a table and were seated virtually on the dot.
the starters didn't take long to come and when the arrived they were very tasty
i recommend the masala mogo and the methi gotha.
The mains were quite spicy but other than that they were very nice.
We ordered a desert. It was 90% likely to have been a boxed one but i enjoyed in nonetheless.
This is a GREAT place to go with friends and family.
