Activeplay Nursery
Thank you for considering Activeplay Nursery and Preschool for your child. We recognise that you are trusting us with the care of someone very precious to you. We want your child to settle in and enjoy their time with us, and therefore we invite parents to attend nursery with their child and help them to acclimatise.

Our open door policy means that parents and carers are able to come into the nursery at any time to visit their son or daughter or to experience the care they are receiving. We now offer up to 30 free hours per week for 3-4 year olds - please contact us for further details and to see if you qualify.
Services
If your child is entitled to Early Years funding, we offer a range of different session times for you to access your funding. We have limited 'term time only' spaces, and these are given on a first come, first served basis. 30 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year - this is called 'non stretch funding' and you will be charged for all school holidays that you attend.
Our kitchen holds a five star rating from the Kent County Council's Environmental Health Department, and is reinspected regularly. We employ a dedicated cook, and both she, and all staff, have formal food hygiene training. Meal and snack times are an important part of the service we offer, and an enjoyable part of the children's day.
It is the nursery's policy to offer children a varied and stimulating range of activities to help develop their confidence, experience, motor skills and interpersonal relationships, etc. Our curriculum supports the Early Years Foundation Stage.

We encourage children to move around the nursery as much as possible, doing different activities in different rooms, in order to introduce variety to the day and to replicate a more homely environment, since children when at home, will naturally move from room to room as they perform different activities.
Fees are payable per calendar month, in advance. We have not asked you for a month's deposit, but we do rely on monthly fees being paid promptly. They should therefore be paid before the 10th of the month. You are issued with an invoice at the end of each month for the month following, and this will detail payments received, any arrears or credit carried forward.
It is important to trust your instincts when choosing a nursery or preschool. Not every setting will suit every child, and parents have different expectations and priorities in choosing childcare. If you have not used a nursery before it is a good idea to go and see several and compare them. It is also very helpful if you can bring your child with you when you visit, to gauge their reactions.

110% recommend Activeplay if you are looking for a nursery / preschool for your little one. I took mine from a childminder to here and was so worried and I shouldnt have been. The staff are first class, the activites they do, the love and care for the little ones and just their overall attitude and family community is brilliant.
I have come to know a huge amount of staff here, not just my childrens key people but the other staff in the other rooms even up to the management and I can honestly say they are all just lovely and so welcoming.
Keep up the good work Activeplay you have definately had
