Recently we used McGeowns to sell our home in South Belfast. One of the managers Paul Nicholas and Danny McGeown himself - both attended our home for brochure preparation and relevant specification for the house sale. A very professional service was provided and we managed to sell our home via McGeowns within a day or two of them actually advertising.

Awful service - had mould in apartment which contractor said needed new paint and fungicide but mcgeowns told us to open the windows and keep heat on, had silverfish in toilet which they did nothing about, fridge broke and took a week to be replaced - they said waiting for landlord but when landlord arrived with new one he said he was told about it the day before.
Staff keeept pressuring us to sign a new lease even though we didn't want to and then threatened to kick us out with out any information from landlord and when we decided to leave it took a month to get our deposit back

Honestly wish I could give a 0 star review. Terrible customer service during a full year long tenancy. They didn't bother arranging to do repairs, and rude on the phone. Left without water for several days. Wouldn't want anyone to have to go through that went renting.

Do not go here! Worst estate agents ever! Though out the tenancy we were left with:
> A ceiling leaking for 2 days, contractors came out and said roof needed repaired but Mcgeowns just patched the problem and it leaked again a few months later.
> A shower than when used leaked through the kitchen roof but we were told it was the ‘rain’.
> Left without hot water and heating for 3 days as they told us it would be fixed 3 times on a Friday and no one showed up, and even when we rang on the Monday morning no one showed until late evening!
> No replies via email

Went to see a property, was interested in it so was told to phone them so they can send an application form over to me. I phoned twice and they couldn't seem to grasp how to spell my name after me telling them how to. Didnt receive any email. Phoned a 3rd time to ask about this, was told the property was already agreed on a date before my viewing. Shockingly bad, no apologies from the little swine on the end of the phone too. Terrible customer service and would be better off giving their job to someone who can do it.
