Called in out of the blue on a Sunday afternoon. Found the staff to be accommodating and helpful. The food, Roast beef dinner was excellent, the vegetables were cooked to perfection and the amount was filling. Service was excellent. The sweets were absolutely fabulous as well. Highly recommend this hostelry to everybody!!!

I had a 2 course meal which cost £24 I was reasonably satisfied but had my husband had the same would have come away hungry. I think I will go for the light meal option next time as my friend's meal was much more substantial than mine.

Beautiful setup and very welcoming.
Food was gorgeous and thoroughly enjoyed. Prices were a bit on a high side but large portion of tasty food so worth it!
Will visit again on a family special or a good friends gathering occasion.

Tl;dr - excellent service, very good food and the domes are a fantastic idea!
Full version: came here on a Saturday night with family, and were seated in one of the domes. Really well decorated and painted, and surprisingly warm despite it being autumn and 6 degrees.
The servers were really attentive, friendly, and able to accommodate almost anything we asked of them (except being able to turn the music down just a pinch - that's maybe the one, very minor, downside of the entire experience).
The food was very good too. I ordered the mackerel croquettes which were delicious and the featherblade

A good choice of dishes, but we had a delicious Sunday roast, will definitely return for more of the same.

Been a while since I was last here, fortunately the quality and service is still as good as ever. Be warned! The garlic bread is a full 10+ inch pizza base so best to share with others.
Main courses were pretty big so best to go with a healthy appetite. Also, it was busy this evening so best to book a table so you're not disappointed.
Dessert options look great, but sadly we couldn't partake due to previous courses.

We booked for 24 for a Wake for my mum.
Booking was easy and efficient. Everyone had a lovely afternoon. Food was excellent, service attentive without being intrusive. Minor mix up with bill sorted out quickly and efficiently, overall cost for what we had was good. Definitely recommended.

Just had the best 3 course roast sunday lunch ever. Thought I had died and gone to heaven when I saw TURKEY on the menu with Pigs in Blanket, roast carrots, roast parsnips, roast potatoes, long stem broccoli cooked to perfection, stuffing, CAULIFLOWER CHEESE and of course the icing on the cake YORKSHIRE PUDDING. This is the template for Christmas Day.
