Unfortunately we have had to make the decision not to hold the event this year. Organisation starts early in the year and at that point we were not clear what restrictions would be in place. We continue to support the Teenage Cancer Trust with the sale of Rachel Roses - full details on the Rachel's Harvests page.

Services
The business was established in 1974 by Derek and Maisie Clifford with the intention of providing a contracting service to the local agricultural community. Over the years the business has embraced the many changes in farming, it has diversified and been enhanced by the inclusion of a welding and engineering service able to offer repairs, maintenance and a hydraulic hose repair service.
We offer a full drainage service, whether its a full drainage scheme, laying pipe and cable or a single run to drain a wet area. Our Shelton CT150 trencher allows us to trench up to 1.5m deep and from 145mm to 320mm wide. All trenches can be filled with gravel using our Herbst gravel trailer and the soil reinstated with a front mounted blade.
Using our Vicon front and rear mower conditioners we are able to cover large areas efficiently. Whether on undulating or level land a clean cut is achieved and to aid the drying process the swath can be spread the full width of the mowers. Using our Vicon 7.6 and 9 meter tedders we can cover large areas at the optimum time of the day.
The latest technology in baling our Vicon Fastbale with 25 knife cutter and the option of film on film binding, (using film instead of net wrap) allows us to bale and wrap silage and haylage in a 1.3metre bale with the bale not touching the ground until wrapping is complete. For baling hay and straw we have two variable chamber Vicon balers this allows us to produce good shaped high density bales from 1m - 1.65m diameter.
Using our Sumo GLS we can improve drainage and revitalise tired grassland in one pass with minimal disturbance. Five pre cutter discs slice the surface allowing the subsoiler legs to lift the soil and remove any compaction, then the soil is pressed back to level by a packer roller leaving small slits to aid aeration and drainage.
