First Class BA hons in Education Studies and Early Years. Hi my name is Emma and I am the owner and manager of Oakey Dokey Childcare. I have been a childcare practitioner since 1998 and I am passionate about delivering the best possible childcare for Early Years children. I have two children of my own and believe that all children are unique, precious and above all inspiring.
There is not a day that goes by when I still do not learn something new from the children I care for. Working with children is something I have always been passionate about. I love to watch the children learning and growing in confidence and it makes me feel proud to know that I have been a part of their journey through nursery.

Services
Our Nursery is designed to enable children to become confident and capable learners. The resources are vast and cover all areas of the Early Years Curriculum. We have a secure, safe and stimulating environment inclusive of a well resourced outdoor area. We pride ourselves on following children's interests and weaving learning into all they do.
Funded childcare places for 3 and 4 year olds The Funded childcare places offers all 3-4 year olds 570 hours a year childcare. This needs to be spread across three funding blocks, with a maximum of 15 hours a week. Children are eligible the first full funding block following their 3rd Birthday. Or Working tax or Child Tax Credits, provided you have an annual gross income of no more than 16,190, as assessed by Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs.
