Lovely looking place , nice selection of lagers on draught. Food menu is large (maybe too large), varied and very enticing. Not sure if it was a bad night to go, but service was very slow and I'm a pretty patient person. Took 10-15 mins to served at the bar with no one else waiting, and was longer when ordering drinks from the table. Cutlery arrived after all food was delivered, and some of he food was cold/luke warm. And not one serviette provided the entire meal. A real shame because this place has potential. Gave it 3 stars because the early bird is very good value at 3 courses for £20. Just

On my dinner break, I drove 30 minutes as the Bridge Inn was advertised as a carvery on Google.
When I asked about it I was faced with multiple denials and questions, the manager, a blonde woman, 30-40s was incredibly cheeky, I decided to write a review after she sarcastically shouted 'See ya!' As I darted off to find somewhere to eat before my break was over.
She noticed I was writing a review, began to shout about it and accused me of being rude. She asked my why I was writing it at the front Porch of the building, to which i said 'It's raining quite heavy' - she still wanted me to write it

2 stars is maybe a little low as food is lovely still however the whole dining experience is appallingly bad. From entering you are told to grab a drink at the bar which took longer than normal as only 1 lady serving, from then you wait 30mins from when you originally booked the table when you get seated you have wait another 20mins to order your food then once you finish trying to get your table emptied and the bill takes too long aswell. Granted this was a Saturday night at peak volume but there was no buzz or atmosphere you see employees trying their best absolutely no fault of theirs just expect

We had a table booked for 7 30 we arrived on time to wait nearly an hour to be seated, then we ordered our food to wait another 45 minutes for the food to arrive cold. I didn't want to complain at the time as the table was booked by a friend so called to complain a couple of days later to be told that the owner or manager would call back. A further 4 calls and over a week finally got the manager on shift that thought to say 'what do you want me to do about it' was an appropriate response. Poor service in every aspect.
