My son and I are trying a spicy vindaloo and my wife something somewhat milder from around all surrounding Indian takeaways. There are some good points about tonight's meal and some not so good points. The food was generally OK but nothing to write home about. The vindaloo was nice and spicy but lacked some of the flavour of others we've tried recently. The dry vegetable dish was good and my wife's Korma had a good flavour. What puts me off a restaurant is when the curry is swimming in oil which I have to say, ours were. I usually like to mop up all the sauce with some nan but it was far too oily

Wednesday nights are excellent value ! Starter, main dish, side dish and naan or rice £12-50 per person ! Great food ! They don’t sell alcohol but you can bring your own …or there’s a shop right opposite if you forget to bring it ! To be honest we all had soft drinks and you know what ? We feel better for it !🤣🤣 And certainly a lot cheaper! 🤣 Thank you 👍
