Top quality, delicious meal. Dined at the Cleaver Restaurant within Cabarfeidh Hotel. We had the most delicious meal from our 3 night stay on the Isle of Lewis/Harris. Pictured are mains of the Crispy Pork Belly and Venison, both were very tasty - we were both savouring each mouthful! The best evening meal we had in Stornoway. I have not stayed at the hotel, but would highly recommend dining at the restaurant. They had plenty to offer on the menu and a good selection of seafood for those that enjoy.

Staff go out of their way for you. Our bed in room 18 ginormous and very comfortable. Everything you could need is there, fluffy white towels, toiletries, tea/coffee/biscuits, plenty of hanging space and draws. We hadn't the foresight to pre book a table in the evening but they kindly found us space. So glad they did as we had a very memorable meal. I had the peach and tomato salad for starter, full of flavour and interesting things such as candied almonds. Partner had black pudding which had the Scottish cream cheese (sorry it begins with a 'c' but can't remember name of) comes with a salad. The

My husband and I had a nice meal in the hotel. When I booked the table I mentioned my husband was a coeliac. When we arrived my husband was given a menu with all the gluten items scored out which was good because then he knows what he can and can't have. The meal was very nice, we both enjoyed it.
I have a concern in that my husbands gluten free bread was brought to the table in the same basket as my gluten containing bread and his bread had been laid on top of mine. This is cross contamination and can cause a coeliac to be very ill. Also his bread was toasted very brown and not served as bread

We were at the Caberfeidh as a family on holiday. The staff were excellent and the service was good but the family room was tiny and the views of waste and a large roof (please see photos of view from our room) made our stay quite depressing. There was a double bed, single and camp bed and there was barely room for circulation. Given the cost of £239 per night, this felt like poor value.

Really enjoyed our stay here, the main restaurant is a real foodie destination, we could not get in there, we ate in the bar which was awesome great culinary dishes still, half lobster was on with chips, great meal, cheese board amazing...good local Skye ales and usual lagers etc, staff really pleasant, we stayed 1 night, big bed great room all good from our perspective, I recommend as a treat or not a nice stay... Breakfast was full of great choices too
