West Cawledge Park was built in the 1830s and operated as a typical Northumbrian mixed farm before progressing into a dairy farm in the late 1800s to early 1900s. In 1970 West Cawledge Park Farm fell into despair the farms land was merged with the neighbouring farms whilst the farm steadings were made redundant and left to deteriorate.

Alnwick Lodge is designed to be accessible as possible for people with all kinds of disabilities. Guide dogs are very welcome. Accommodation and facilities are based and inspired / restricted by the old walls of a Northumbrian Farm Stead.
Alnwick Lodge offers 15 comfortable en-suite bedrooms, all individually handcrafted and sympathetically restored, situated within a spectacular walled topiary courtyard. Rich in rustic charm, each room name takes inspiration from the farm's past. Located over two floors the bedrooms range from single to large family and four-poster rooms.
A collection of 20th - century workers wagons have been assembled and carefully restored to provide rural accommodation that is different. Woodland walks are located nearby and we are close to the Northumberland Dark Sky Park where star gazing takes on a new dimension - bring your telescope! Bacon rolls and fresh orange juice can be ordered in advance and delivered to your wagon or the Pavilion between 8 am-9 am, 3.50 each.
Alnwick Lodge offers a unique setting for your very own party - large or small! Wedding Receptions, Family Reunions, Tea Parties, Birthday Parties, Stan and Hen Parties are all welcome. 1 mile south of Alnwick directly off the A1 we are easily accessible and provide ample, unlimited parking with a large turning area for coaches.
Our main conference room can seat up to 80 people and smaller rooms are available for recess and smaller meetings. Each booking can be tailored to suit your needs whilst, accommodation (15 en-suite bedrooms) and catering can also be provided. 1 mile south of Alnwick directly off the A1 we are easily accessible and provide ample, unlimited parking with a large turning area for coaches.

Lovely place to stay and very handy location off the A1. The car parking spaces are round the back, so you will need to drag any suitcases over gravel which is a bit tricky but OK. We were greeted with warmth and the lady was very friendly. We stayed in the Calf Pen, which was on the ground floor; small but perfectly formed. The only downside is there was an intermittent humming noise all night; was it an extractor fan, hot water heater or a generator? I could also hear a woman coughing upstairs but I am a light sleeper.
