JS Burgess began its journey in 1990 delivering Stillages for the Aluminium and UPVC Extrusion industry when the owner at the time Jim Burgess saw the need for a quality Stillage manufacturer. In 2004 husband and wife team Jonathan and Thea Patoff purchased the business and through continuous investment and staff development have grown JS Burgess Engineering into what is now the largest Stillage manufacturer in the UK.
We have supplied hundreds of thousands of bespoke Stillages, A-Frame's, Skips and Roll-on-Roll-off Containers to a whole host of industries and are the biggest Stillage manufacture and design firm in the country.
All of our products are manufactured in our 7-acre UK-based factory and we have an in-house design team who combine years of engineering experience with the latest CAD technology to make sure each product meets our customers exact specifications.

JS Burgess Engineering is one of the largest manufacturers in the UK for Glass Handling Equipment, supplying thousands of bespoke A-Frame's and L'Frames to a number of leading glass and window manufacturers and distributors. We specialise in supplying large production runs which enables us to meet our customer's tight deadlines and pressing requirements both efficiently and effectively.
With a history steeped in making Stillages for a diverse range of industries and applications, we have recently expanded our product range to include high-quality Skips, Roll-On-Roll-Off (RoRo) Hooklift (HLC) Containers, Waste Bins and Stillages, Tipping Hoppers, Plant Flats and WasteSafe Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC).
