The sympathetic architecture of the Meridian Hall blends perfectly with the 18th Century elegance of the adjacent East Court Mansion. The layout takes full advantage of the magnificent views across the gardens and hirers can also enjoy the enclosed paved piazza attached to the side of the hall. This light and airy building, which is licensed for up to 140 guests, is fully equipped with air conditioning, lighting and sound equipment.

This Wedding venue was beyond all expectations, the building was classical elegant and demure. Perfect place for a small wedding (50) and set in a stunning location. The staff could not do enough to please and the colleagues that arranged the room thought of all the minutiae to make for a small and intimate occasion. In short all went smoothly and nothing was too much trouble.

We got married here in September and had a fantastic experience. Alice was so helpful and kind throughout, and the council were really flexible in response to the changing restrictions. The venue is beautiful and well maintained. The caretakers couldn't have done more and overall great value for money. Our guests loved having drinks and canapes on the patio and we got some lovely photos. Would highly recommend.
