Dorset Dubhire offer a full chauffeur driven service in our classic VW wedding cars. Our aim is to help ensure your wedding day runs smoothly and to provide a relaxed, enjoyable journey for you and your party, along with plenty of photo opportunities! Our classic VW wedding campers and Beetle are popular with couples getting married at many different venues.
Lulu is our 1960 early split screen wedding campervan. Painted in Dorset Dubhire's bespoke signature shade of powder blue over ivory she turns heads wherever she goes! Lulu was imported from Utah and restored locally in Dorset. She originally belonged to a custom made furniture business in Poole, where she modelled her owner's fabulous VW interiors at many of the country's largest VW shows until she came to us ten years ago.
Our classic Beetle, the beautiful Lilah is a superb 1965 Volkswagen Beetle finished in classic VW 'bahama blue' (duck egg/pale pastel green). She has enjoyed a complete restoration and still retains many of her original features, giving her a real vintage feel. Her good looks have won trophies at many Volkswagen shows and she's also been featured in a centre spread in Volksworld magazine.
The Wedding Industry Awards, are also held annually. They are voted for by clients who have used our services and a panel of wedding industry experts. Regional awards events are held throughout the country after voting closes. Our region (The South West) incorporates Dorset, Somerset, Wilts, Gloucestershire, Devon and Cornwall.
Do you have seatbelts? Due to their age our vehicles were not fitted with modern seatbelts (some with no seat belts at all). However, we have fitted modern 3-point inertia seat belts to all front seats and lap belts to all of the seats in the rears of all vehicles. Lucy also benefits from 2x 3-point static belts in the rear.

We couldn’t be happier with the service from Dorset Dubhire! VW campervan 'Lillie' and Beetle 'Lilah', beautifully decorated with bunting and flower garlands, were showstopping and perfect for our wedding on 7th August 2019. Drivers Jason and Aaron were excellent, providing smooth journeys for all - a highlight of the day! We also loved having photos in and around both vehicles post-ceremony. Communication from Catherine throughout planning was superb and everything was made so easy for us. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I got married on the 5th October at the Harbour Heights Hotel. I wanted a camper for my wedding and we were both very glad we chose Dorset Dub Hire. I visited the campers around 6 months before the wedding day - they were extremely friendly and allowed me to visit their unit and look at the vehicles - they wanted to make sure I chose the right vehicle for my wedding and I felt at ease immediately. Communication with Catherine via email was excellent - I felt I could ask her anything I wanted and she was quick to respond! On the day, the man driving Lulu (Martin I think) was lovely

Dorset Dubhire were amazing ever since we met them at the Dorset Wedding Festival in 2017! We were unsure of what transport we wanted, but as soon as we saw your beautiful vehicles we knew! We chose Lillie to transport my Maid of Honour, 4 Flower Girls and my Mum to Charminster Church from Dorchester first, to then Charles (our driver) kindly coming back to collect me and my Dad. Lillie was absolutely stunning on the day and we thoroughly enjoyed our journey. They even threw in a bottle of bubbly for your first journey as Husband and Wife which is a lovely touch, a long with lots of water after

I can't recommend Dorset Dubhire enough! Catherine was so approachable and helpful from start to finish, making this part of the wedding planning so much easier. She was even on hand on our big day when we had to amend timings, and all of this was taken care of without any issues. The vehicles were immaculate, beautifully presented and nothing was too much for the drivers, Jason and Dave.
