My name is Will Bazlinton. I'm a family, portrait and wedding photographer living and working in Bournemouth, Dorset, on the beautiful Jurassic Coast, in South West England. I graduated from UCA in Surrey 2002 with a BA in photography, where I specialised in portraiture. I'm interested in people and the way they connect with each other - essentially, I photograph relationships.
Here's the thing. When your family photographs are passed down through the generations shouldn't they be about more than just what your family looked like? Wouldn't you rather you're able to show your children, and your children's children what their lives were like - who they were? To know who they were and what they did when they'd forgotten anyone was looking?
It's a privilege to be allowed into someones personal space to photograph them. So an element of trust is important if I'm to make a portrait that's as honest a representation of you that I can. I treat portrait sessions as a collaborative process rather than a 'subject/photographer' process. I try to make it as easy and as relaxed an experience for you as possible.
Capturing raw, honest emotion in single photographs. Telling stories in single, unposed images rather than just creating a series of pretty snapshots. Capturing the essence of that moment in a single frame so that you're able to look at that photograph weeks, months or years after it was made and remember how you felt at the time.
Unlimited pre-shoot consultations to discuss your family session (either in person, on the phone or via Skype/Facetime, etc.). Documentary coverage at home or at a location of your choosing (or both, with the longer sessions). All of your photos fully edited and post-processed (by me) from your session, delivered via digital download through your gallery.

We had a great afternoon when Will came over to photograph us. We were made to feel complete at ease and comfortable. There was no stage setting or posing and we were just left to get on with having a fun afternoon. We are over the moon with the pictures that Will took and we will treasure them. We couldn’t be happier with Will’s photos of our wedding day. He captured so many beautiful, emotional and sometime hilarious moments and we have had endless comments from our friends and family over how stunning the images are. Will was also a pleasure to work with, so unobtrusive we forgot he was there most of the time (sorry about all the girl talk you were subject to in the morning Will!), we really could not recommend him highly enough.

I can’t recommend Will Bazlinton enough! Having seen Will’s portfolio I knew I was going to get great pictures but the finished product still managed to exceed my extremely high expectations. Not only do the pictures look beautiful but they capture our children’s personalities and really represent our family life! Will was so easy to work with, we all felt totally relaxed and the children were able to be completely natural which really shows in the pictures. I will definitely be using Will again and will treasure the photos forever.

Will is so talented! The photos from our family photo shoot are absolutely perfect. He captured our family looking natural & relaxed, at home and on a trip to the park. The photos are the antithesis of a “white background” family photo shoot which is exactly what we wanted! Can’t recommend Will highly enough.
