I would highly recommend staying at this property, particularly if you are looking for somewhere for a hen party. The rooms were very spacious and clean and appeared to have been recently updated. Extra necessities such as cleaning products were provided which was very helpful. Overall, excellent value for money!

Saxford Barn is situated less than 2 miles from Villa Farm in the village of Wigginton, approximately 5 miles north of York. The property sleeps up to a maximum of 12 people and comprises of 4 bedrooms. On the first floor there are two family bedrooms each containing one double bed and one single bed and two twin bedrooms, each containing two single beds.
We are happy to allow you to arrive 1 hour earlier providing the circumstances allow us to e.g. There are no departures on your day of arrival. Similarly, if we do not have any arrivals on your day of departure we will allow you to check out 1 hour later. However this cannot be confirmed until approximately 2 weeks prior to your arrival date.
Please take caution should you Google the address - we are "Villa Farm, Wigginton Road", NOT "Villa Farm, Wilberfoss". Please ensure you enter the correct postcode YO32 2RH for directions to Villa Farm. Please note that there is no reception at Villa Farm or Saxford Barn. All arrivals must contact us to arrange meeting for check in as instructed on your booking confirmation.

This is a lovely place to have a wedding. It has a large barn with bar for wedding reception or meeting. It has little cottage,s for guests to stay in and large properties for you to stay in. They are all self catering, very clean and modern. I would recommend this place to anyone to get married there.

Great accommodation. Very clean cottages and the grounds are well kept. If you get a chance go for the Sunday lunch. You will not be disappointed. There is a very busy road outside the grounds which could do with a path running along side it. The bus into York (#40) stop right outside the gates if you wave it down. They also allow dogs.
