With restrictions changing so many time's, my daughters wedding date changed 4 times. Eventually we got a date that was going to happen. I had been searching online for months. Molly Browns in York has an amazing website which is easy to use and one of the only ones to offer delivery at this time. I ordered my beautiful outfit which arrived fast and packaged beautifully. I am a plus size lady and was amazed this outfit fit and looked so good. I cannot recommend Molly Browns in York enough. Went into all three of the Molly Brown shops in York the shop geared to fabulous holiday / summer shopping .
Lovely assistant chatty , bright & helpful.
The prom shop again friendly helpful assistant made yo to feel welcome .
Then the wedding shop which was the main event .
Stylish merchandise lovely shop overall .
If you want beautiful items & great service this may seem like the place for you .
However if you want to be made to feel uncomfortable ,
& barely tolerated by an ungracious & bordering on rude shop assistant you are more likely to find this in Molly Browns wedding shop York

Grudgingly returned to the shop after an upsetting, extremely disappointing experience last year with my friend who was looking for a mother of the bride outfit. This was purchased but after less than 24 hours was returned as she decided it wasn't quite the right colour for her.
As noted in previous reviews with important dress decisions for special occasions people can change their minds, however the shops policy of no refunds and only a credit note left my friend devastated and visibly upset in the shop.
The refund policy is displayed on a wall
