Services
Our Nursery Unit was created in 1999 by converting 2 classrooms in the Primary School. The result is a bright, spacious room which we have equipped with a variety of resources to create a stimulating environment where each child has the opportunity to develop fully in every aspect of his/her development.
We attribute the success of our LSC (Learning Support Centre) to our very personal approach. Children and their parents become part of a caring environment. We work in partnership to ensure that your child is equipped with the confidence and skills to embrace future learning. Children are taught in very small class sizes for the key subjects such as Literacy and Numeracy.
Swim wear, towel, waterproof bag and swimming cap dusted with talc or at least have long hair tied back (KS2). The school wants all children to grow into healthy adults. We believe that it is dangerous for children to wear shoes that have platform soles or high heels so we do not allow children to wear such shoes to school.
We have a PTA group known as the Friends of Bloomfield. They meet on the first Wednesday nigh of each month at 7pm in the school to plan and discuss events to help support Bloomfield and our pupils. We really appreciate all the work the Friends of Bloomfield do. Please try to come along to the meetings and events - you will be made to feel very welcome and we would value your ideas!
Please find below a list of some resources which you may find helpful.
