Excellent roast, and generally brilliant food. Staff always welcoming, and front area great for a drink if you’re not eating

Wow was that bad. Like really, really bad. We paid £80/head for Christmas lunch. The food was late, and frankly, awful. Everyone was complaining. We arrived at 1 for lunch at 1:30. At 1:45 we got figs in a mug. The soup, at 2(?) wasn’t awful. The beef, at 3:45, was. People were angry. Some left. The table next to us complained so much they got their drinks comped. We didn’t because we “weren’t regulars”. They’d been there twice before, as had I. The cheese was fine. I guess. But all together it wasn’t worth £20, much less £20+ per item. We were trying to support local businesses

We had our Christmas Day lunch with Tulse which left us with great experience. Meals were well prepared and staggered in time, maybe little bit too much of the wait for a mains, but at least we could enjoy every meal till last bit, my husband loved his monkfish and my turkey was perfectly cooked. Pana cotta we had for desert was mouthwatering, and our waitress give us an extra trifle pudding which we loved too! The festive atmosphere was in the air - despite kids running around and screaming - which I guess is beauty of Christmas lunch.
All servers were very lovely and attentive, even though they

Great atmosphere in here with lovely staff. Nice inside, wood panelling, for autumn winter and big outside space for summer. The prices are slightly higher than other pubs nearby so I don't go as often. But good for a treat. The menu has gotten much better in recent years but still quite pricey. The cask ale offering is limited even though they have 5+ pumps there seems to only ever be greene king IPA on. So best to come here for craft keg ales and a good wine list.

Most friendly establishment. All staff encountered were cheerful, helpful and most pleasant. Breakfast was made to order on a daily basis and of a very good quality. Room was very comfortable and hotel well situated. Can be a little noisy early morning tho.

I came here last weekend with some friends and we had such a wonderful time! In the bar area they have these really lovely high top bar tables, with such comfortable chairs and a great view of the rest of the pub. They had the mulled wine brewing so that was a nice way to start off our evening with this delicious baked camembert and sour dough bread. Was to die for! The girls and I then moved on to a bottle of the Rioja which is one of the bet Rioja's I have ever tasted, so smooth and well bodied. I ordered the sea bass for my mains, which was just so delicious I was too close to getting another

Loved the place!
From the very beginning when I called to make the booking, the lady was very kind and friendly!
We did not know they have their own parking so this was very convenient, of course.
The room was very comfy, spacious and clean!
We also had dinner there which was super tasty, they have great selection of draft beers and wine.
Breakfast was included in our rate, we were offered coffee and juice straight away, I ordered avocado and poached eggs, and that did not dissappoint either.
I should mention as well that the staff there is very friendly you can tell they enjoy working there

Superb roast dinner. Yes I could have eaten more but, it allowed room for some desert and tasted fabulous. Very cosy too - nicely decorated decorated Christmas. New local. Will be heading back ASAP.

Very well run hotel with a free on-site parking, the restaurant downstairs serves very nice good quality food and they have an outdoor seating with heaters. Bathroom tends to be cold, but the room itself was warm. Be prepared to go up a staircase (or more of them!) as all rooms are upstairs and there is no lift. Would stay again and recommend this place.

Attended a friend's 40th birthday here and was pleasantly surprised. Roomy, nice ambiance and friendly staff.

Their menu looked interesting (but as we were a party we were given a shortened down version). Service was pretty quick considering we took over the whole of the dining area and the food was ok. There wasn't much variation on what we could order - seemed that most folk went for steak or burger so it would've been nice to have been allowed to venture onto the main menu instead.

I had the rib eye steak. It tasted fine but I have had better. A friend had the burger, and although

Just around the corner from tulse hill station the Tulse Hill Hotel offers a large bar/pub area with plenty of seating as well as a restaurant seating towards the back, although this was still very casual. It looked like there was also some outdoor seating.

The menu was pretty good with a mid market gastro pub feel and price range to match £12-£17 mains.

I had a pulled pork sandwich, which was fantastic. Others with me had a pasta dish and duck confit. General feedback was very good and service was quick and friendly.

Perfect place to catch up with friends while having a bite to eat or just

Having lain derelict for the best part of a year, I was very excited when the former Tulse Hill Tavern reopened as the Tulse Hill Hotel, and I wasn't disappointed. My friend was running late so I had a very tasty coffee (dry jan!) while I sat in the very cosy bar area, which is a mix on comfy high backed chairs and long benches. It was only 1/3 full but there was a nice, laid backed vibe. The dining room is great, a bit snug but lovely and light, and I can't wait to use the great looking decked area in the summer. I went for tap water and I wasn't drinking, and was really impressed
