They don’t even deserve 1 star. Went here for my birthday meal, had booked it a month in advance and given all pre-orders for food two weeks before the meal. When we arrived, they didn’t seem prepared at all despite us being the only people in the restaurant. By 3:15 they said all starters were ready to come out but waited another 15 minutes for them to come out. They were serving table by table which took ages. Main meals started to come out but they were all freezing cold. From the first meal coming out it was an hour until the last one. We were told beforehand that they shut at 5 and we

Went here for my friends birthday, she had booked weeks and weeks in advance and we even pre ordered because there was quite a lot of us. the service was ridiculously slow and staff were not friendly. got our last course 10 minutes before our booking time was up .
worst of all it was liking eating food straight out of the fridge

I've never liked the Westone Hotel, the layout doesn't flow very well in my opinion. It's a hotchpotch of rooms that don't really integrate very well. However we had tickets to go and see an ABBA tribute band so off we went. Ordered a Stella that was lacking in alcohol and 4 of us agreed on that point, expensive as well. The tribute band were awful, they tried hard, but to be fair I've seen a lot better acts. Glad we got the early bird tickets because I would have been hacked off if I had.

All I’m saying is you get what you pay for here. Room was tiny I mean tiny, dirty - not just dusty, but actually grimy - look at my picture of the light switch. I closed my eyes to everything else because I just felt so uncomfortable.
I won’t critique the decor but it’s not exactly attractive. Has to be the most depressing wedding hotel ever.
There weren’t enough staff at any point….the website is really hard to use…
I don’t really have any thing good to say about this place. Would have been more comfortable to camp.

Absolutely disgusting place. Management don’t have a clue what they are doing, would rather go camping. Receptionists are helpful and the bar staff are very chatty and pleasant but can tell they are not backed by management. Always the same faces working, when there is trouble management tend to hide and don’t like to back staff and let staff deal with everything.

A thank you to Charlie who checked us in. We had a lot of questions and she been very helpful.
We stayed 3 nights and had a brilliant time.
The bar opened at 5pm.
But we still could sit in the garden and enjoy the October sunshine.

I'd seen some negative reviews recently and had stayed in the past, more than 20 years ago. Booked a superior room. Arrived late and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Our room was in the old house overlooking the lawns. Bed was soft, but warm and comfortable. Shower was difficult to manage and room lighting was poor. Other than that, a comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was freshly cooked to order and served to the table. Again, friendly efficient service. Checkout was quick. Overall, staff friendly and helpful. Hotel a little tired in places, but clean and comfortable

Would never recommend anyone ever gets married here. We did this last weekend and what was supposed to be the best day of your life was the most stressed.
The hotel went through 4 different wedding planners in 9 months. Should have been a warning.
No hot chocolate or herbal tea in whole hotel.
I don't drink coffee or normal tea.
Complete mess up in organisation of rooms. Meaning some guests were using my bridal suite and getting changed with me so no bridal surprise for them.
Guests weren't welcomed to Chapel my father and carer were sent to sit in it with no lights on and the curtains closed
