Services
We used Summerfield Browne in a contract dispute case and they were very efficient, listened to our case and guided us through the process of witness statements and case procedures. Everything was thoroughly explained and nothing left to doubt. The case was heard and not only judgement in our favour but costs as well!
Summerfield Browne Solicitors are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Our Section 21 Solicitors & Section 8 Solicitors advise on all aspects of Landlord and Tenant claims including obtaining possession, recovery of rent of arrears and instructing bailiffs to recover your property.
We have recently been taking instructions from businesses who are defending claims being issued in relation to business rate relief. Typically, a surveyor or a company representative would attend a business and tell the business owner that they could assist the owner in securing small business rate relief.
Japanese Knotweed is an "invasive non-native species" but it is not alone in gaining this ignoble status. Other plants that have been identified by the Government as being harmful include the Broad-leaved Dock, Curled Dock, Common Ragwort, Spear Thistle and "Creeping or Field Thistle". You may find that you have purchased a property (either commercial or residential) that is blighted by Japanese knotweed.
In today's technological era it seems that we no longer have privacy; we are contactable 24 hours a day, be it via text message, social media or even email. Whilst most contact we receive is welcomed there are instances where the contact received is unwanted and distressing.

With the use of social media apps such as; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Messenger, to name but a few you do not need to be aware of a person's telephone number to contact them. Most people who hold social media accounts will have received a direct message that was unwanted.

I have had numerous dealings with this company and specifically with one of their senior solicitors (Tom L). They have been very upfront, honest and clear. They try and serve you to the best of your interests and are genuinely helpful. I don't know what the outcome of my legal dealings will be as they are still pending - but i don't believe I could ask for more from them!

They were so unorganised on the day of the hearing, the barrister could not find a key piece of evidence I had submitted to them when asked for it by the judge...10 mins later he found it, but the judge was no longer interested. They will take your money, claiming they can help, but your just left hundreds of pounds out of pocket. I really regret not representing myself. Dont recommend this firm at all.
