Any dealer who wants a £300 non refundable deposit to hold a car whilst booking an AA inspection is no good as far as I’m concerned. Told the money would even be non refundable if the inspection came back that the car was in a bad way and shouldn’t be purchased.
Read positive reviews about this place before visiting. Most of these I think are planted. Go with your gut instinct and collect as much history on the car yourself and always always book an inspection. Good dealers will work with you to get it done if they believe in the quality of the car they’re selling.

5 star experience, excellent - the owner was very courteous and knowledgeable on the vehicles he was selling. The owner Mr Malik was a breath of fresh air and no high pressure sales to deal with. Had a good 10 minutes test drive and was offered a good deal on the trade in on my vehicle and hence bought the Mercedes I travelled down to see from Cambridge..............
Will definitely look at doing further business with him in the future.

Amazing Honest Car Dealership -- Fabulous buying experience.Very friendly staff. No pressure and every question we asked was answered. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.
The car has been nothing but trouble. I hadn't owned it more than an hour before I had to return for a minor repair.
Problem persisted and they booked it in with their "garage" (the same one that holds warranty for their cars). The problem was repaired with a cable tie and I was sent on my way with the owner grinning and celebrating that he hadn't had to use the replacement part he'd bought.
A month later. Guess what needed repairing again? This time took it to my local garage who said the part needed replacing and should never have been fixed with a cable tie.

Traditionally have always bought privately and never bought from the high street, after getting stung on my last private purchase, I decided to change tactics and it paid off. iCars provided a refreshing buying experience; there was no hard sell - the quality of the cars basically sell themselves. I felt I had a transparent sales experience without feeling nervous. Malik et al are very helpful and easily contactable to provide after sales support.
