So glad that my husband and I found Simply Bookkeeping to help run the accounts side of our very small 'one man band' building company.
After over 42 years in the building trade, working for just one local builder, my husband, who was sixty at the time, was made redundant due to the company ceasing trading, but hence gave him the chance to try going self employed.
Panicking to find an accountant, we quickly and stupidly signed up with a larger company in Swindon as had no recommendations to go on. Sadly they gave bad advice, cost the earth and were never that helpful whenever we had a question
