Situated in the village of Woolton, Ying Wah has been serving quality, authentic Chinese cuisine to the neighbourhood for over 40 years, making it one of the longest established in Liverpool. Parking: You can park opposite the restaurant in what used to be the 'duck pond' or the side street is also an option.
Services
Our restaurant was first opened by a close family friend, James Chan back in 1974, but soon changed hands to my father Mr Richard Ng in 1978. Thus allowing our family to continue doing what we love, serving the heart of Woolton village and the surrounding areas.
Ying Wah is currently owned by Mr Richard Ng's son Simon, who is equally as passionate about his family restaurant, customers and making sure your food is freshly prepared to the highest standard.

Fantastic experience. Visited on a Sunday and it was extremely busy. We didn't plan on coming here so didn't have an reservation, but they still accommodated us group of 4. Next time we will book!
After a short delay waiting in the bar area we got shown to our table. Have to mention their Expresso Martinis are top standards.
Overall we all had an amazing evening at the new Ying Wah.

Brilliant restaurant lovely inside was very busy for a weekday evening, we sat in, the food was great, would definitely go again, the dim sum platters are rather big but the mains are about average so both a starter and a main can be a bit to much food but didn't leave wanting more felt full after meal. Service and food was great.

Held our daughter’s 30th birthday in the private dining room - the room was perfect. The food was amazing - but we knew it would be as we’ve been going for the last 38 years! The attention to detail from Simon and his staff was fantastic - couldn’t fault a thing!! Simon made us all feel like VIP’s and nothing was too much trouble. So a huge big thank you and a massive pat on the back to all the staff for a wonderful memorable evening . Joanne, Ian and Bec Cummins.

Been going to the Ying Wah for years, we had a take away last week on collection and it was fantastic! Lovely staff, a staple of woolton for sure!
Edit: we've actually been back and the new restaurant is amazing after the renovation! It's comfy, welcoming and stylish! The menus are easy to read with great helpful staff, would 100 recommend!
