Services
The foundation to the care and service we provide our residents and their families and friends at The Glen Nursing Home is based upon Person Centred Care. Valuing a person as a unique individual and adopting a person-centred approach to care and support ensures we provide quality care to each individual 'their way'.
To support our person centred care approach, upon admission a 'Resident Life History' record is also created. From past experience we know this is a great way for everyone to get to know new residents better as it not only allows the individual and their family and friends to reminisce and remember memories but also provides staff with a better understanding of the resident's care needs from a wider perspective.
Over the years it has become more common for individuals to 'fly the nest' and live far away from their families either within the UK or abroad which then makes it difficult for them to visit their loved one when they come into a care home. To support and maintain these relationships, we provide Ipads and Tablets within our lounges allowing residents access to the internet.
Cultural and spiritual care is considered vital to the general wellbeing of each of our residents. The Glen Nursing Home respects and accepts that individuals have the right to continue to have their cultural and spiritual needs met at all times. The home facilitates the observance of all religious festivals that are appropriate to the faith of any resident living at the home.

LETTER - AΩ ( UTUS....DEUS....AM.. ) .+. WHEN CHRIST JESUS REVEALED EACH TRUTH AND TAUGHT PEOPLE THE KEY OF SALVATION FOR THE WHOLE WORLD, CHRIST JESUS WAS SPOKEN WITH BAD WORDS BY THE PEOPLE WHO ARE… GREEDY, CUNNING, AND SELFISH! THEY ACCUSED CHRIST JESUS AND SAID THAT HE IS A LIAR, THIEF, ADULTERER, BLASPHEMOUS AND POSSESSED BY DEMON; THEY MOCKED, DESPISED, BELITTLED THE ABILITY OF CHRIST JESUS AND WAS LAUGHED AT BY THE SCIENTISTS AND INTELLIGENT… AND DESPITE OF WHAT HAVE BEEN THROUGH BY CHRIST JESUS HERE ON EARTH, CHRIST JESUS STILL CONTINUE TO PREACH PEOPLE REIGN WITH LIGHT

I have been very impressed by the care my mother receives at The Glen. The staff are very kind, caring and friendly. I feel that they not only care for my mother, they also have the time to talk and reassure relatives. Caring for a loved one can be so difficult; releasing that care and allowing others to take over is also very difficult and not something one can do easily. I feel comforted knowing that my mother is receiving the best care possible. Thanks to Danny and to all the wonderful staff at The Glen.

I have worked in this home as a one to one carer for several months now and I can honestly say itโs among the top homes I have ever been to. The standard of care is excellent! The staff take time to ensure the persons centred care is met individually and I have never seen a resident looking unkept or in poor hygiene. The manager takes time to regularly ensure the staff have someone to air any issues that may have arisen and takes time to speak to staff and residents daily. The home itself is more like a 5* hotel and meets the needs of the residents to a very high standard and in a manner that
