We rented through BruceRae for 5 years and, like so many other reviews here, I simply can't recommend them highly enough! Communication and the resolution of any problems/queries was excellent throughout our stay and our deposit was returned promptly when we left. We rented with Bruce Rae for about nine months during 2020. They were always extremely easy to work with, and never quibbled over minor repairs. Communication with them was always quick and easy. When we moved out, we got our deposit back (minus a perfectly fair deal deduction for damage which we absolutely were liable for. Absolutely the best landlords I have had.

Although our experience with BruceRae agency was just a year long, my partner and I found it extremely pleasant.
We rented a flat with them in Stockbridge back in May 2014 and I must say that from day one of our tenancy to the day of the last inspection we were looked after like no other agency we had before.
The professionalism, second-to-none efficiency and friendliness of the staff we dealt with on a regular basis for our enquiries (hello Mandy, hello Laura :-)) was an eye opener for us as we had never felt treated this way in our previous experiences.
Due to some unexpected circumstances

By far, the best experience I've had renting in Edinburgh. For over 5 years I was a tenant in a flat managed by BruceRae. All their team was really helpful and responded to any doubt or issue I had in a quick and effective way. Our four years with Bruce Rae have been the ideal introduction to the practicalities - and enjoyment - of renting in Edinburgh. They operate with an excellent mix of professionalism, understanding and friendliness, which allows any problems or requests to be addressed quickly and efficiently. It was sheer chance that we found them, but we certainly landed on our feet.

I have been a tennant with a Bruce Rae managed flat for almost 15 years and cannot praise the outstanding service and the friendly team enough. Any issues were addressed immediately and the communication regarding any area was excellent. One of many examples comes to mind: when I phoned the agency on my way to the airport thinking that I forgot to switch off the hair straightener. In no time did someone go to flat and check and phoned me back before I was on the plane! :-)

I was with Bruce Rae for 3 years and they were (and remain) the best letting agents that I've used. They got everything repaired really quickly and offered replacements when required. Our deposit was returned really quickly when we moved out. Mandy and the rest of the team were really friendly and I'd definitely recommend them as a letting agent. I wish I was still with them!
