Dusty Ape are mad about coffee and roast distinctive coffees from around the world in small batches to get the best possible flavours from the bean. We're over the moon that our little cafe is used for the Netflix series Bridgerton. The Modiste is arguably the best place to hear the town gossip!

Visit us at Number 2 Abbey Street, Bath and see Madame Delacroix's dress shop in person and join us for a delicious cup of tea and slice of cake whilst you are there.French accent optional! Having previously worked in the corporate food industry, they took the opportunity to open this charming local deli/caf and engage with the tight-knit community after moving to the area.
Services
The best thing about our delis is that there is no fixed lunch menu. Huh? Please stick with us here! Everything you see in the cafe in front of you is available, from our quiches, pies, lasagne and salads. That said, we do have a few delicious popular meals you're sure to find in each of our cafs. We love using fresh, local ingredients for our breakfasts.

Really brilliant staff, great coffee and great food! They were also really accommodating of our dietary requirements (diary free & gluten free). Would highly recommend!

Nice cafe along the high street. Fresh food, home cooked and very good service. We went there for breakfast and had a some great fresh food. Quirky indoors and seating outdoors. Don't take bookings.

Nice little cafe to sit outside and watch the world go by. Food and in particular the varied side salads are great. Service was friendly and prompt.
Only minor complaint and why it doesn’t score the full five stars is the signage around the cafe warning off shop lifters and people who overstay to use the free wifi. Found these to be not very welcoming, even to those who are honest and genuine customers.

Great, friendly local spot really near the train station. Fabulous breakfasts, awesome cakes and the salad boxes are off the scale tasty. You order inside then grab a seat and its informal, friendly service. It gets really busy at coffee and lunchtime so plan ahead if you want a viewing seat outdoors to watch the world go by - which in Bath is a super way to spend some time.

I was very impressed with this deli, first tine visiting and there were lots of lunch options. The olive and chirazo quiche was very generous and the mix of actual well-prepared salards was inventive and added to the quality. Definitely plan to go again.
