My first visit here and it was for Breakfast on a Sunday.
Faultless food and drink.
Good selection, all freshly prepared.
The only downside was that we were eating downstairs, which was cosy and nice but a woman next to us thought it wise to bring her Dog. I live Dogs but this Dog needed a Bath, it smelt and made the whole dining experience unpleasant.
The Rosemarino was lovely, staff polite and knowledgeable, Food was fresh and tasty, it was just poor judgment to let an obnoxious lady sit downstairs with a Smelly Dog.

I found this place on Google maps and I'm so glad I did. What a little hidden gem. The food was absolutely delicious.

Toasts were burnt but hidden by being served the nice-side up, so we didn’t realise and ended the meal with a smoky burnt taste in our mouths. The baked eggs were also overcooked. Pain au chocolat was not fresh. Service was friendly.

This is a simple breakfast spot on the way to the suspension bridge. I had the eggs Florentine, and while it wasn't the best I've had, it was good! I like a really buttery, thick Hollandaise and this wasn't exactly what I normally like. It needed a bit more flavor. I did like the sumac and dill seasonings as an addition! He had a skillet which was really tasty! The pizza fritto was okay- I'd probably skip it and try a pastry. It was a lot of dough with not a lot of flavorings in it.

The sandwich was awesome. Bread was fresh and the ingredients used as well. The tiramisu was a letdown. Looks good visually but the lady fingers used were not soaked long enough in expresso/café so they were rather dry...

Delicious brunch on a Sunday. Had the eggs purgatorio and one pan breakfast, both were very good. Drinks are tasty too - range of smoothies and a thick Italian style hot chocolate.

One of the best Italian Restaurants in Bristol. A bit pricy compared to others but high quality. The service was excellent.

It's been a few years and I find myself coming back to this place every time I visit Bristol, and not only because it is conveniently located for me. It's just a great restaurant. Last night I ate off the daily menu a salami appetizer and a main dish with liver, violating my dietary rules ever so slightly by including the dessert. The beer menu is mostly Italian but also includes one or two beers from the great, local Wiper & True brewery. Good selection of grappe and amari. Great coffee both at night and in the morning. I'll keep coming back. Upgrading to five stars is only

I wanted to like this more than I did. The space felt sparse and cold. Food was fine. Server was distracted.
I'll go back and may revise, others seem to love this place but I felt like I went to a different restaurant than they did...

I visited Rosemarino yesterday, after reading such good reviews in Yelp and I have been deeply disappointed.
Let's start with the menu. I was expecting rosemarino to be an italian restaurant and we went there for pasta, but we could hardly find any pasta in the menu apart from one with seafood, which is quite a limitation for many people.
Finally we make our order. And wait. And then wait more. And we were ready to disregard the one hour waiting time if the food was nice, but both my friend and me found it really mediocre. We ordered vegetable risotto which was really dry (and the combination

We paid £35 a head, and were given a peach bellini to start - then a sharing plate of antipasti (with honestly some of the most creamy, delicious mozzarella EVER) plus a load of cold meats, sundried tomatoes, fresh bread and the like. Then, fresh pasta with mushrooms, THEN steak and truffle macaroni cheese - and finally, an insanely wonderful dessert plate.

Just WOW. Such good value for money, amazing food, and a really great night. A totally undiscovered gem (and apparently one of the best roasts in the city!)

If you haven't been to Rosemarino yet - what have you been doing!? - Eating nuggets out of a cardboard box I imagine - you philistine.

Rosemarino is a real treat and a rarity; they obviously care a great deal about the quality and authenticity of the food but have kept the prices extremely reasonable.

Perhaps my favourite thing about Rosemarino - other than reading a paper or having a meal with friends in the light, relaxed atmosphere - is their events; such good value for a truly unique and special social or culinary experience. I paid £20 for an evening of great food and Italian language
