We took Cleo, our Bearded Collie , to Julie today and her and her Staff have done an amazing Job in bathing and grooming Cleo . It's always difficult going to a Groomers for the first time and we can honestly say that from the minute Cleo arrived she was made so at home . Cleo is naturally a very nervous dog but after only a few mins she was totally at home . Thank you so much Julie and we will be back soon

Very reliable dog grooming business. Appointment requests are always arranged swiftly and there is great communication from owner. My dog, Dixie (Terrier) always comes out looking a lot tidier and appears to feel better for it. The only thing that is stopping me from giving my review 5 stars is sometimes his legs haven't been done as well as they could have been. But in all truth, that's probably due to to Dixie being a real live- wire who doesn't like being still for very long. Recommended.

Took mums 4 month old puppy Freddie here last week, he was quite nervous 1st visit for a puppy cut. They were so lovely with him and he settled in, smelt fab and looks so much better, will definitely take him back. Luv the fact that the dogs can walk around before and after as well even if he did keep himself to himself. Loads of fuss one happy lil pup and mum. Thank you so much

Can’t recommend the team at Hair of the Dog enough. So friendly and relaxed, felt very safe leaving Buster in their care. He was happily sitting having a fuss when I came to pick him up and he looks lovely.
… He’s had an allergic reaction at a previous groomer’s but here they had a good range of shampoos for sensitive skin which was reassuring. 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, already booked in for his next groom!

Just picked up my puppy 🐶after his first cut and I couldn't have been any happier What an amazing place, he looked fab !!! the girls were so gentle and patient with him to, you can see the dogs are well looked after. I would highly recommend this dog groomer. Looking forward to out next visit x

My dog 🐶 is terrified of the groomers. I have tried other groomers before who have not managed to cut my dog’s hair. Thanks to the staff who have managed with patience and understanding to cut Bella’s hair. I can now remember what she used to look like. Nothing was too much trouble and I would highly recommend to others.

Booked Gus in for a de-shed. Fabulous Service. He smells great and is virtually shedding at all. The girls were amazing, friendly and Gus arrived with a wagging tail and left with a wagging tail. He threw his head back and shuck his fur. Bounced back to the car after his pamper thinking he was Top Dog.

My Siberian husky went here today. I done lots of research into groomers and I needed one that I felt comfortable with as well as my dog. All the staff was fantastic! They treated my boy like he was one of their own and nothing was too much. They hid nothing from me and my dog was happy when I picked him up!! He looks and smells amazing!! Thank you all! Love me and blade xx

I've just arrived home after having Tilly groomed at Hair of the Dog for the first time. I was particularly looking for a place that didn't cage the dogs and I have found the perfect place. Julie and Erin were so lovely and caring and have done a fantastic groom on Tilly. I was impressed as soon as I walked through the door-by the friendly… atmosphere as well as by the whole set up. When I went to pick up Tilly, she was so happy and stress free and had a smile on her face all the way home (she is never ususally like this when going to the groomers). My dog absolutely hates being groomed and we have tried other groomers before but since we found Julie, we've never looked back. Julie just takes her time and builds his confidence each visit. He even lets her clip his paws, which was always a complete no no! Julie is calm, understanding of both the needs of the owner and the dog and always makes you both feel welcome! Would highly recommend!
