We are Bacup Cricket Club, situated in the heart of our town. We have 3 senior teams, junior teams from under 17's down to under 9's and a ladies team that all play in the Lancashire Cricket League. We are a place for our community to join together, not just for cricket but for family fun day's, seasonal festivities and to celebrate your wedding's, birthday's, christening's.

Our excellent function room with private bar, dance floor and disabled access is available for hire for any type of event. We can also provide catering. The club house is decorated and furnished to a high standard and incorporates a bar lounge serving real ales, with darts board, dominoes, free WIFI and Sky and BT Sports TV!

Function Room Hire Report

Decoration's may be used but if you are wanting to use the walls we ask that you stick to the pictures and woodwork. The club hosts monthly social events and many special events throughout the year, please check out our events for more details. Amazing as always. We've held our daughter's birthday party here again today and we can't fault the venue.

Weddings Report

Let our experienced wedding planners assist you in organising your wedding with a professional and friendly approach that will help make it as relaxing and stress free as possible to ensure your peace of mind during the months leading up to, and on your big day. Our function room can accommodate up to 80 guests for your wedding breakfast and up to two hundred guests for your evening reception.

Cannot thank Christine enough she is just amazing! She is so accommodating and took so much stress out of planning my daughter's baptism as well as being an incredible host on the day. The cricket club is a fantastic venue! Brilliant sized space, lovely and clean, with a reasonably priced bar, already booked for my 30th! Also lots of stuff going on for the community during the week.

Welcoming and homely. Recently hosted the Mayors charity Quiz here and the staff were all extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough, especially Pauline. Plus the catering was first class from Lynne and Debs at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended hosting an event here.

It's a great place for parties, both rowdy birthdays, engagements etc but also caters for funerals. They have a company that supplies catering for all tastes and is reasonably priced.

Me and my husband were in here on 17th Feb 2018 for a night of entertainment and every time we got a drink the prices went up, starting from £5.65 £5.75 £5.85 up to £6.00 then back down to £5.75,if the staff are doing that to me just how many more people are they doing it to.

Great setting, nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the beer festival here with cracking weather, and went again for a friend's birthday last weekend which was catered for well. Great for events and a pint on a sunny day.
