McVeigh Parker are one of the largest independent suppliers of landscaping, agricultural and fencing products. 1979 - Gloria Gaynor released ''I will Survive'', it was the Winter of Discontent and the Birth of Thatcherism was just around the corner. In this tough environment Brian Parker and Michael McVeigh took over a small corner of a yard and rented a small van as an office.
This van had been the living quarters of a driver and was towed behind a Steam Roller. From this humble beginning in Berkshire, they never dreamed that their two man start up would expand into a distribution company with eight depots, 20 acres of storage, 100 staff and 50 delivery vehicles, recognised nationwide as a leader in the field of supply to farmers, contractors, utility companies and landowners of all descriptions.
