Services
At Gloucester Dental Care, our friendly and professional team will do their best to put you at ease during your visit. Good communication is very important to us, and we will take the time to explain any proposed treatment to you, including any potential risks involved and available alternatives.

Our team of dentists are all committed to providing you with high quality clinical care, and ensure that their skills and techniques are kept fully up to date by regularly attending courses and lectures.
At Gloucester Dental Care, we offer a wide range of NHS dental treatments to help keep your teeth strong and healthy, so you can feel confident about your smile. Visiting us for regular check-ups is very important. It enables us to keep a close eye on what is happening in your mouth, and to spot potential problems at an early stage, often saving you time and money.
Many people have to have a tooth removed at some time in their lives and this can be for a number of reasons. Sometimes teeth become too badly decayed or damaged to be repaired, and need to be extracted. Gum disease can, in its later stages, cause teeth to become so loose that they have to be taken out.
Bridges are a permanent and realistic looking way of filling a gap between teeth that has been caused by a missing tooth or teeth. Bridges can hold one or more false teeth, and are held in place by the neighbouring teeth. Sometimes the neighbouring teeth (one on each side) will need to have crowns fitted to make them strong enough to support the bridge.
Crowns are usually recommended when the root of your tooth is still relatively strong and healthy, but the top part of it has been broken or damaged; or it is very decayed and is not strong enough to be filled any more. Crowns are also often recommended after root canal treatment, and are sometimes needed to help support a bridge.

I attended Gloucester Dental Care for an emergency appointment. I am extremely nervous when it comes to dental visits, however I found all the staff very friendly and helpful. I was treated by Swathi who was amazing - so caring and compassionate which put me at ease. I can’t recommend this practice and it’s staff enough! 👍

What lovely receptionists and dentist. Had an emergent appointment Monday and a tooth took out today. To say I was nervous was an understatement but I was put at ease and treated so well. So Thankyou to all of you. You are very much appreciated

The 4 stars are for my new dentist who I love. Agree with some of the reviews below about difficulty getting through on the phone and reception staff could be more friendly but possibly under huge pressure.

I have been to this Dentist twice. Both times, I have been unable to get through the door into the office block in which they are based. The first time I was outside for around 10 minutes, ringing both the labelled buzzer and their office phone. I was eventually let in by a member of the public who was coming out. Today, I had the same experience and was part of a group of 4 people having the same problem. I gave up and drove away. As far as service goes, allowing customers into your building seems like a good first step.
I note that I saw a sign inside detailing the number of missed appointments

Can’t rate highly enough. Had tooth extraction this morning by the lovely, gentle, charming Dentist ROSE. Dental Nurse and Reception staff all so helpful. Thank you for being so caring.
