We are open for table service with Lunch and Dinner sittings, seating both inside and outside on the patio. If booked outside please come prepared for the 4 seasons in 1 day we can enjoy in Scotland!

Heavy rain may make this option unworkable. Our varied menu, alongside an ever changing specials board ensures seasonal dishes to enjoy in our cosy restaurant or sitting outside in our pretty courtyard on warmer days. Offering great food, relaxed dining and good value. Choose from seafood, game, vegan and more.

Enjoyed food of the highest order at The Courtyard last night. Excellent service. The jaegerschnitzel was expertly prepared. Even the reindeer antlers on the chocolate terrine were good quality. Thank you to The Courtyard!

Amazing food full of flavour. Can’t believe it’s just one person cooking. Service was great also. May have been too noisy for such a small place, but hopefully we’re allowed back 😂

Lovely Restaurant.
Hostess even opened 15mins early to accommodate us.
Food was exceptional. Wine smooth. Service attentive.
And the Desserts were lovely.

What a lovely little place! Stopped for lunch. I had the pork escalope & hubby had the wood pigeon- both delicious! Very good service, excellent pricing for the quality of the meal & friendly staff. We will definitely be back! Thankyou.

Lovely little gem of a restaurant. Very accommodating and beautiful and tasty local produce served. We visited with two young kids and they were so happy to make sure they felt welcome too. Well prepared for covid19 and making sure customers are kept safe.

Amazing little place off the main road, it feels like a hidden gem and it really is. The food was delicious and they even went out of their way to make something off menu for our son. Staff were lovely and the price was spot on. Will come again hopefully soon.

Had a wonderful lunch with my wife at this very well-run restaurant. Even though we arrived at closing time for lunch, the waiter and owner welcomed us. My wife had a delicious shrimp/prawns dish and I had pork schnitzel. I tasted her prawns and "terrific." I had not had schnitzel-hope I spelled that right-since a visit to Austria ten years ago and I was not disappointed.

As we were leaving, I asked to speak with the owner and after meeting him, it became clear why this restaurant is a success.
