Now a fourth generation business our long standing ethos of quality of product and service remains in place to this day. Always in Birmingham, we started life in Wilton Street, moving to Well Street and then New John Street West followed by Lozells Road where we remained for over 50 years until early 2018.
Since 1914 Frank Allart have been manufacturing the finest quality brass and bronze ironmongery in their Birmingham factory. George Allart began his own business working from a small workshop within the premises of a company owned by a family friend. At the end of the First World War he set up in Balsall Heath manufacturing brassfoundry for the architectural, marine and railway trades.
Croft Architectural Hardware make the finest quality brass and bronze ironmongery in their Willenhall factory. Their history can be traced back over 150 years through generations of brassfounders. Freeman and Pardoe innovate, design and manufacture Door Closers of the highest standards. Freeman and Pardoe was founded in 1947 and developed into a manufacturer of precision engineered components to the exacting safety critical requirements of the Aerospace, Defence and Power industries.

I spoke directly with one of the Price & Oliver Team just to confirm some details, the person I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I ordered 14 window handles on line, which with most other companies would be the end of it. However, Price & Oliver kept me informed that the order was ready to despatch and most impressively a phone call to tell me that it was on its way and an expected delivery day. Excellent Communication, would highly recommend and will definitely use this company again.

The website made it easy to find the products that I needed. Ordering was easy and delivery was within 3 days. The quality of the products was excellent. The only slight downside was that the delivery company DPD were not given my contact details so couldn't notify me of a delivery date and tried to deliver whilst I was out. However I rang them and they redelivered within a couple of hours. So an excellent service from them also.

The item I bought was one of those affected by Covid. Two other companies led me on instead of being up front and were difficult to contact once they had the order. Price and Oliver were easy to contact and Peter told me how it was and when the item would arrive in UK again. Letter plate not only arrived on time, but I received a follow up call from Kit.

Service from the team at Price & Oliver has been absolutely first class, although i knew which door furniture i wanted i was totally confused by all other more technical and less pretty elements of ironmongery for our two doors. I was guided through all options and recommended what locks to use where and could not be happier with the result. Thanks to the team at Price and Oliver we not only have amazingly beautiful door furniture from Kirkpatrick but also secure and functioning locks.
