Willow Bank Bowling Club
While lockdown is in progress, the wildlife are taking full advantage of the quiet sunny evenings. The new vixen has 4 cubs who like to parade in the shade of the trees, sitting on top of the cores. The club welcomes all new members and to help those unsure of their commitment, we offer a Reduced membership to new bowlers for their first year.

Associate Membership encourages local residents to engage with the club by supporting social and other open events. Members are entitled to use the clubhouse, when open, throughout the year (including the bar facilities), which can be booked for functions. Bowling is a family sport and we wish to encourage younger members.
Services
Club management have the responsibility to nominate potential coaches. The nominees then undergo various checks and training before BowlsScotland issue the coaches with certificates and badges. These certificates represent the licenses to coach and are national rather than local. This implies that coaches can coach outside their own club provided they follow the national approved models and guidelines.
We are a friendly boules club located in the West End within the grounds of Willow Bank Bowling Club. Petanque is a sociable game for people of all ages and abilities and our members play at all levels for fun, fresh air and exercise. For those who like to compete more seriously there is a local league, competitions at other clubs as well as national events.
Welcome to the new club development pages for Willowbank Bowling Club. BowlsScotland published its second strategy review since conception in 2011. This document highlights its primary aims and objectives for the sport of Bowls in Scotland. To deliver an accessible player pathway that identifies and develops talent in a High-Performance environment.

This is the place to go to have games of bowles and petanque at Glasgow. Take a underground to Hillhead station and it's a short walk from there.

I recently held my wedding at this club. The wedding was fantastic. The staff or members of the club were not. They were a bunch of ignorant misogynists, even the women. We were told how everything would be and that we had rented out the club and grounds for the day. These people have no idea what they are doing. They gave us a first low rental price and then several months in increased that price x 10!!!! We then had to renegotiate a price with them. On the day, a bunch of strangers/members sat in the club, my rented area, while my wedding was going on and drank and watched sports and ate my food
