Services
We are a family run business established in 1980 offering the full range of piano services throughout Sussex, Surrey and parts of Kent and Hampshire. Horsham Piano Centre was set up in 1980 and has been a family run business since then on the same site in Queen Street. Although the shop has just a single frontage it extends to a large showroom of around 2500 sq ft, enough to house a stock of up to 50 pianos.
We have a wide range of pianos for sale in stock from portable stage pianos and small uprights through to larger professional uprights and even larger grands that would grace any concert stage. We think that the most important aspect of buying a piano is making sure the customer has the right piano for their needs.
New piano brands that we currently stock include Kawai, Steinhoven, Reid-Sohn, Waldstein and Steinbach. Whilst we could fill these pages with colourful language describing the virtues of all these instruments we feel it is best for the customer to come in and try out the pianos personally.
We are very happy to provide as much information as required with regard to the quality of materials and technical details of each piano and can recommend a range of pianos that we think might be suitable for each customer but ultimately we think the best person to make the final decision is the pianist themselves.

Buying a piano for the first time can be quite a daunting experience. If you are faced with a large selection, knowing where to start can be difficult. We're here to help you through the process in a friendly and relaxed manner, we are technicians rather than salesmen. There is often no need to go to the expense of a brand new piano if there is a good quality second hand instrument that gives you all you need.
When deciding to branch out into digital pianos we made a conscious decision to stock just one brand. At the moment we have the KAWAI digital range. The reason for this is that we wanted to keep the range that we felt had the closest touch to a piano and the most pleasant tone. At trade shows and supplier events we have been ale to try many of the top brands and at the moment we feel that the Kawai digitals are the best, in our opinion.

We bought this beautiful Art Deco Danemann upright piano from Andrew at Horsham Piano Centre a couple of years ago. Originally built around 1937-1938, it’s been completely renovated, refinished and restrung. It is an exquisite instrument and puts up with my clumsy attempts to play very graciously ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
